The fishing Gods hate me

Got me a new rig all spooled up. Been reading posts on here all Winter from guys catching fish from all over the country, nice fish to boot. So I finally have a weekend off and the weather is going to hell starting late tonight and on into tomorrow. Winter storm alert. Sunday will be iffy. Next week I go "on call"....WTF, I just wanna fish for a few hours, is that asking too much ?

I know, wahhhhhh, you want french cries with that ? I just felt like bitchin

I know how you feel and that winter storm is just starting to hit us here. Im not sure how much longer i can do this winter up north stuff. im seriously considering going off to college somewhere down south where i can fish year round.

Fish bite really well here in the winter time when the weather is at its worst! Had several great days here when its cold and snowing.

But then again I am in NC and not NJ

I got the day you're wishing for. 38-50 degrees. Burned 20.00 worth of gas.
Didn't catch a thing :/

I did get to go out though. Some good things floating around in my mind. (Better than the 4 walls and TV/PC)

Man it was 76 degree's today went out only caught 2 didn't matter better than being in the house burned 40.00 worth gas went riding a little and aired the old Evinrude out a bit

i just want to be on some soft water fishing, Putting some fish in the boat would be a bonus. 38 sounds real nice compared to the 9 degree wall i walked into this morning on the way into the gym before school. Theres only so many classic patterns dvds, or jigs to tie before that gets old too. I did meet a personal trainer at the gym this morning that invited me to do some ice fishing with him .........still its only january and i got a looooong way to go till march.
