ARRGHHH...conversation with tech support ( little long)

So i am trying to get an old web form ( rescue application) that we used to use on our website to work as a "back up" form. Everyone once in a while we come across someone who, for some reason, cannot open the one we use on our website now.
(I FULLY explain this to tech support)
so I go through the "knowledge base" to get the link to the script that process's basic forms on our webserver...

    error says "path is incorrect"

so I get on support chat to get the correct path...
they refer me to the page I got the INCORRECT path from
I tell them I tried that path and it says it is incorrect...it does not work
    they answer with...

    It should work
    It doesn't
    Your other forms work
I know that..but ( again I explain we on rare occassions come across someone who cannot seem to use the current forms...I am trying to use an older form that works differently for these few folks)
Use the same processing for your other forms and it should work.
OMG!!!! I just need the correct location of the cgi script for processing basic html forms...THAT IS ALL I NEED!
It is in the link I sent you.
    That link does not work.
    it should work.

    I love talking in circles.

My last experience with phone support wasn't quite so bad....I ended up laughing at the end of it.
Our plasma TV quit on us one day. We unplugged it for a few minutes, plugged back in, good to go. It lasted about another 2 weeks doing this occasionally, until it finally quit for good. I call Panasonic and tell the guy what happened.
He says to hold down power button for 10 seconds and count how many times the red LED blinks. I tell him ok, 10 blinks, he says unplug everything from the back of the TV, wait 2 minutes, plug in just the power cord, and try to turn it on. Ok.....still getting 10 blinks. Has me unplug and plug back in several times, hold down power button, just press momentarily, plug into power strip, straight to the wall, etc....
After 20 minutes of calisthenics, he says, "Ok, sounds like your TV is broken. Our nearest certified repair center is........."
So, my TV is broken? Wow, what a revelation....I'm so glad I called you because MY TV WAS BROKEN.
