My concern is say you are fishing a very hot day where the air temp. is 90 degrees plus. I imagine the livewell water may creep up into a range approaching something a few degrees less than the air temp. depending on your individual livewell system. If you have this system and set it for the recommended 70-75 degree range what happens to the fish once they have acclimated to this temp and then are released back into lake or river water that at the surface is around 90 degrees? Won’t this adversely affect the fish more than just letting them stay closer to the outside water temp. while in the livewells all day?
