    e tec break in

    The book states 5 hours for double oil is this right or is it longer
    It seems that i still use alot of oil i know i have more than 5 hours on moter
    but no more than 10.
    I have not gotten moter programed for xd100 yet but i am going to.

    I think it means hours above 2,000 rpm for the double oiling. My 175's did this for 2 hours above 2,000 rpm if I'm not mistaken. I think some of the "older" ETECs double oiled for a little bit longer. Perhaps as much as 10 hours above 2,000 rpm?

    Fletch, I think it's 2500 for the RPM's to count.

    My 225HO had kicked out by 10hrs 3 mins, most of my rpms were either idle (44%) or in the 3500-4000 range (19%).....
