Do a good deed, fish a bass tournament, and have a great time all at the same event. Last year’s event raised $19,000 for a very important cause: Medical rehabilitation therapy services for children with developmental disabilities and developmental delays.

There will be a Skeeter Boats pro (TBA) available to mingle with the participants and emcee the weigh-in. Last year, former B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year and Bassmaster Classic Champion Mark Davis was on hand.

Although this is an open tournament, it is also a points tournament for Twin Rivers Bass Club and a qualifying event for the Illinois Bass Federation Nation.

There is also a Club Challenge. Weight from teams belonging to the same bass club will be totaled. The club with the most weight will receive the traveling Club Challenge trophy and $250 cash.

We are an official Skeeter Real Money tournament. Real Money contingency cash will be paid to the winning team if they are in a Skeeter boat and registered for the Real Money program.

Anyone who has fished this event before will tell you it is the most organized, well-run tournament in the Midwest. Festivities begin with registration and a kick-off party on Friday night at Grace Marine in Bettendorf, Iowa. After you have spent the day fishing on Saturday you are invited to stay for a post-tournament cookout.

Entries received before August 7, 2009 will be in the drawing for boat position and will receive a tackle gift package from K&K True Value Hardware in Bettendorf, Iowa. Entries received after this date and on tournament day will be positioned in the order received.

Volunteers are also are needed from 2:00 pm-6:00 pm Saturday to help direct traffic, sell raffle tickets, serve food at the cookout and be all-around runners. Contact W.K. Juncker at 309-762-9552 ext. 16.
