89....The three blade Raker will give a little more speed (1-3mph) with a light load. The four blade Renegade will give a better hole shot, stay on plane at lower speeds, carry the bow in turns and be better in rough water....The Renegade is a better prop for the "T" angler with a heavy load....imo...<>rob<>..

The renegade will get ALOT better bite. I've done turns with a 25 Renegade that if I attempt with a raker, I just blow out.

Ditto, The Raker is the fastest straight line of the two; The Renegade is probably the best "T" prop of the two, and only 2mph slower on my rig. Both of mine 26" Raker and 25" Renegade Bass have been Balanced and Blueprinted by Mark Croxton. It is the best money spent!!!.

    Re: raker or renegade??? (rogerrose63)

My 26 Raker II (on E-tec 250 pushin Z-21) is great. Never blows out. Full load I get 68 mph. Use a 6 inch fixed jack plate. Set up is so at speed I set the trim on the highest "up" setting on the trim. Prop is throwing a little H2O but not much. Recently I let the gas go down to about 1/4 in each tank and just me in the boat. I got 71 mph. If you ever damage the Raker it has to be reworked back to its original condition as new. Typically reworked Raker II never acts the same as when it was new. That is my experience. Tight lines...
