    First time out with 898

    Just some shots of road beds and stuff.Maybe some thoughts on some good settings.
    Also when i switch to 800 from 455 my screen gets real bright.

    My screen goes bright when I switch too, I'd guess they all do it. Once the previous setting screen scrolls through its no longer an issue though.

    Looks like your settings are fine. Only thing I see is some signal blocking on left side like bouncing in jackplate from the lines in water column. Other than that great images

    I guess the 998c HD SI I have on order will come with v6.61 so we'll see if I get the same high quality pics that jw2fish did or . . . . .

    That will be interesting Jim. It might start giving some clues to why there are issues at all.
