    Plug Indexing Problems

    Rusty, cannot get the starbord side to index. Are there some tricks that I am not aware of? Have tried all plugs on that side. Also what should be the torque? Tom

    If a plug won't index try it on the port side usually works then. Torque is 22 lbs

    Have trtied all plugs on that side.

    If they wont work in the port side, you need to get three more plugs......Sorry.

    Thanks. Made sure the parts house ordered 2 sets. I don't see how this motor ran like it did. The gap on some of the old plugs was around .055 they were so burned. This should help with starting and ideling. Thanks again Tom

    No way on the washers. Not recommended.

    NO!!!!!!!!!!!!
    If the plugs you have ( This is on Direct Injection Motors) will not index on either bank of cylinders, buy more plugs.

    The depth, the plug needs to be in the cylinder.
