Haven't tried it mainly b/c I can buy Penzoil Premium Plus for $20/gallon vs $50/gallon of the Royal Purple. I know guys that run the $12 SuperTec oil in there Opti's and HPDI's so the Royal Purple would work. If you think its worth the extra $20 to $30 over Penzoil and Yamalube more power to you.
I've been running Royal Purple for 2 years, it isn't new. I changed my plugs this past weekend, they lasted 2 years.
