Getting ready to clean my O2 sensor and I have a couple questions. I have looked at the post that is a sticky at the top of the board. My first questions is can you purchase a thin wall socket with one of the sides cut out like the one in the post. Secondly, does anyone know the part numbers of the gasket and o-ring that may need to be replaced. Thanks for the help.
I could never find a thin walled socket. I got mine off easily with an open end wrench.

Yes there is a socket that is for removing O2 sensors. But you dont need it. When you get the plactic cover off you will see a block that the O2 screws in to it has two or three bolts in it remove those bolts and then remove that block with the sensor in it. Then carefully clamp that block in a vise and remove the sensor with an open end wrench. You will have to remove this part any way to clean or replace the joint that is behind this block.

The joint can be cleaned but I know at some point they updated that part so you may want to replace it so that you have the newest one. Boats.net for the parts.
