A buddy of mine has a 20yr old Ranger that he repowered with a new VMax 150 a couple of years ago. He found a deal on a newer boat that has a non-running OMC Ficht motor. How much trouble will it be to remove the OMC and move his Yamaha over to the new boat? What all is involved? We're pretty mechanically inclined so is this something we can do or should he carry it to a dealer to have them swapped? He has a big shop with an engine hoist, the main thing we're concerned about are the electrical components.
