Blew my 2006 a couple of weeks ago. New power head and tuner being installed now.
Yep. My 09 blew on me with right around 30 hrs on it. I had just bought the boat the month prior (I think it had 26 hrs on it when I got it) and I had only been on the water about 5 times and it blew. This is my first Yamaha so I was really sick when it happend but with the new powerhead it has been flawless so far.Did yours fail?
Ya mine failed last week. Now I am fighting with the extended warranty people. They want to put a referb or a rebuild instead of a brand new power head on it. Kind of makes me sick thinking that I paid the extra for the extra coverage and they want to skimp when it comes time to make good.
