My starting batt is not getting charged and was told today my engine is pretty much running off my batt. they said just carry jumper cables until they can get it in my question is, Im going to test the voltage regulator per the directions I've found thru searching this board if it is bad is this a bad fix to get to, I'm a decent mechanic but not a outboard mech.....and before you ask it is under warranty but I need to get it fixed asap
