anyone ever change the oil in their high pressure pump? doesn't look like a big deal. I can't remember the interval, but the book says to change it.

My Manual says the same thing---I have been thinking about getting it done. I think the oil is just lower unit oil. I have 962 hrs. on one and 799 hrs. on the other. Isuspect that it should be checked to be sure the fluid is kept full and to keep the pump running well. It can't hurt to drain and fill.
Not sure what Mike from KY means by the emoticon......my manual says every 200 hours to check it to be sure it has oil and then later in the manual it shows how to drain and refill it.
