Id like to upgrade to a bigger motor on my skeeter bass boat. I found a 2000 model vmax 150 OX66 for sale. It has low compression in one cylinder but everything else on the motor is still good. I've seen pictures of it and it looks to be jn good shape. He wants $1000 for it I could prolly get it a little less. What I'm thinking is buy it for $800 and have it rebuilt for hopefully no more than $2000. What's yalls take on this? Is there any major issues with this year and make motor I should look out for? As long as it just lost compression in one cylinder and still runs (hasn't locked up), should I be good with just getting all 6 cylinders overhauled?? Thanks for any help guys
