Besides the normal Ring free does anyone ever run anything else? Any injector cleaner or fuel system cleaner?
The only thing I use is seafoam. It does it all.
I always have and always will run Ring Free in my Yamaha but I'm looking for something else to run to combat the effects of ethanol when I end up having to burn it. Yamaha also makes a fuel conditioner/stabilizer that they recommend but I haven't used it. Since ethanol has alcohol in it I was told to avoid any additive that had alcohol content in it. I would like to try the Startron but I just don't know anyone that's running it to ask how it performs.
I'm running Startron (for about 8 mo.s) w/ no problem.
Seafoam and Marine Stabil in boat,trucks and all my lawn equipment for my lawn service.

What you want is ring free and Yamahalube Fuel Stabalizer & Conditioner PLUS.
This is the stuff for ethanol fuels.
