If I use the Ring Free Plus E10 do I still need to use the stabil ethanol treatment?
If you still need to use stabil why would I even buy the plus?

Ok..just wondering.
Why would you need to use Stabil unless you are parking the boat for a few months. Makes no sense to run Ring Free with the E10 treatment AND run stabil.

Because Ringfree does nothing to stabilize the fuel:
"To protect your engine from the damaging effects of carbon build up, Yamalube® is introducing Ring Free Plus, a decarboning and fuel system cleaner that keeps your engine operating at peak performance. Metal filmers in this exclusive synthetic formula protect your engine from the harmful effects of E-10 fuel and the destructive sulfate salts that corrode metal components in the fuel system and clog fuel filters."
HHBCBass ............ wildkat is right, it does nothing to 'stabilize' the fuel. I see what you're saying since you mentioned 'storage for months' ....... but the fact is this Chitty E10 fuel starts breaking down within 1 month and the amount of moisture it draws varies depending on your climate.
Hope that helps.![]()

I fish every weekend so I go through lots of gas, I was running an 07 90 Optimax until Feb. and had to use Stabil every time I fueled up or it would start missing and bogging down within an hour use even when getting "Non-Ethanol" fuel.
I got ya...that makes sense. I've never run stablizer other than winter storage...might have to start running it.
