Ring free plus question

If I use the Ring Free Plus E10 do I still need to use the stabil ethanol treatment?

If you still need to use stabil why would I even buy the plus?

Because they are not making 'regular' RingFree anymore ..... all of the new stuff is RingFree Plus ...... per my dealer.

Why would you need to use Stabil unless you are parking the boat for a few months. Makes no sense to run Ring Free with the E10 treatment AND run stabil.

Because Ringfree does nothing to stabilize the fuel:

HHBCBass ............ wildkat is right, it does nothing to 'stabilize' the fuel. I see what you're saying since you mentioned 'storage for months' ....... but the fact is this Chitty E10 fuel starts breaking down within 1 month and the amount of moisture it draws varies depending on your climate.

I fish every weekend so I go through lots of gas, I was running an 07 90 Optimax until Feb. and had to use Stabil every time I fueled up or it would start missing and bogging down within an hour use even when getting "Non-Ethanol" fuel.

I got ya...that makes sense. I've never run stablizer other than winter storage...might have to start running it.
