Do you still have to use Ring Free or like product in the SHO ?
Owners manual calls for the continuous use of Yamalube Ring Free Fuel Additive Plus and Yamalube Fuel Stabilizer and Conditioner Plus.
Marine fuel issues exist regardless of two stroke or four stroke operation. Fuel tanks are not closed systems like cars which allow moisture into the fuel (encouraged by ethanol) and the potential of long resident times of fuel in the system (boats can sit unused) which can affect octane etc...
