    overheating

    Hey guys,

I have a 2001 225 vmax and it has started overheating on me. Its only done it once at idle but will do it about everytime before I get to wide open throttle. Motor seems to still be peeing well not sure on water pressure for my gauge is broke. I took the poppet valve out and wiped it off. It didn't look to bad but not sure how it works. Any ideas

    Thanks

    Fulk

Time for a new gauge ...

    Overheating and:

    pressure too high = obstruction
Pressure too low = water pump
Pressure just right = thermostats, temp sensor, wiring etc etc....or other!
