Need fuel hose clamps for 250 HPDI

I need fuel hose clamps for the $95 filter. The folks at the auto parts stores just stare at you if you don't have a year, make and model. Any suggestions?

Try a hardware store. Most carry good selection of stainless hose claps. Don’t over tighten or you will ruin the hose after couple of changes. While you at it, check inside of the hose for deterioration. Change if needed with efi, multifuel compatible hose.

Zip ties and worm drive clamps will not hold the pressure, it's around 40 lbs past the VST. I finally found the fuel injection clamps at Oreilly, they are on the HELP rack.

the ones on there are called Otiker clamps. I dont know of anyplace that you can buy them off the shelf. you can order them off the internet if you want to go back with the same clamp.

I could only find them on the net in bags of 100. Know of anyone who will sell a small pack?

Home Depot sell them under the trade name Shark Bite clamps . . . and they come in stainless steel.

Any high performance auto parts store will have them. The size you need to ask for (I know it sounds funny) is "dash 6" pushlock hose clamp. Brand names Areoquip, Fragolia or even Earl's.. The -6 is the size of hose where you are talking about or possibly a -4. And to correctly tighten the clamp you need a pair of pliers called nippers, they make a pair for automotive use but you can use a pair of tile nippers in a pinch (no pun intended, lol)

    Hope that helps

I did not know he was at 40 PSI. I thought the $90 filter was the Yamaha water seperater filter kit. My bad.
