    SHO prop questions

I am putting a 250 sho on a 202 flat top blazer. What pitch prop should i run? Another thing i just read that you can put plugs in the props with vents does this sound right? I just gave a 27 pitch vmax series 2 prop away because i didnt think i could use it because of the vent holes

I have always heard ventless for this engine. Waiting to see other responses.

A plugged Fury is working better then the Ventless Vmax Prop so far. More test are being done. I am evaluating three props below.

    Fury prop
    Tempest Plus prop
    Ventless Vmax prop

I run my 24p fury with the plugs out. Would it be better if I plugged them.

    Re: (nhsmallmouth)

So far the 26 Fury has ran the best on my 250 SHO BC Puma FTD

27 Tempest Plus is a close second

I will sell my 27 t1 Yam prop to the highest bidder.

My boat likes the PVS holes plugged.

Would it cavitate with the plugs out. Mine doesn't cav with the plugs out, I will give it a try with them plugged. If it gets out of the hole even better I will be very happy.

    Re: (nhsmallmouth)

Mine cavitated with the larger holed plugs. When I plugged them completely it stopped the cavitation unless I had the jack plate up too high and it didn't matter.

I guess please keep me informed so i dont buy all kinds of props. I talked to a guy at blazer and he said they are running better with vented props. The t1 and the fury were the ones he mentioned.

I'm running a T1 25p that Mark Croxton B&B. On the 721 Phoenix, top speed at 76.1, average speed around 74. Hole shot is excellent. I've purchased another T1 25p prop and had Mark re-pitch to a T1 26p. Hoping that will be the happy medium between a 25 for hole shot, and 27 for top end. Have not ran it yet. Will see how it works on Guntersville week of the 10th. Besides 2 Talons on the tail and a 36v TM system on the nose; I carry the kitchen sink with me, so pleased with the 74, but!!!!!!.

I have ran a Brovo 1 XS on my SHO with no cavitation problems. It has 4 1 inch holes. 26 pitch.
