OK I looking to re-power my '83 Ranger 373 and I found this motor for a steal. As everyone says "it was running when I parked it last year" kinda has me on edge. So I guess my questions are what should the compression be on it and please let me know any tell tell signs to steer clear of the motor. Well opposite of a hole in the block . Thanks and any help would be appreciated!
