looks like #3. mine was in a different place. you will have to pull cap off of plug and pull yellow plugs out of interface cable.

Not sure about Pic #1 but Pic #2 is where you plug in the laptop and you connect the Lowrance interface cable to the white plug in pic #3.

Guys, I'm waiting on my interface cable to arrive, but I was wondering, how in the world do you find room inside that bundle of wires/hoses that exit from the motor to run the interface cable through? Mine looks tight as heck and I'm wondering how I'm going to feed a cable through there??

Get you an electrical fish tape. It should have plenty room even if it looks like don't. I would feed it from the boat to the motor so you will not have to feed the large plug through the bundle.

Fish your wire in and lay it close to the other wires and put the plate back in place.

I had to flip the little yellow piece out of the I/F cable plug using a small flat head screw driver, then use a scriber or pick to release the locking tab and slide the terminals out of the plug. I then taped the wire ends to some pneumatic airline and fed it through. Mine was tight.

Ditto on removing the 2 bolts. I then used a fishtape. It was tight but it went through.

They seem to be on back order everywhere from what I've seen. Oh well, my garage is too cold right now anyway.

    Re: Interface Cable (briansgi)

Just installed mine got it from boatersworld got here in 2 days. I did run mine out of the motor but after many attempts, and was told by the marina the easiest way to run it was remove all wiring and put back in, i opted fo black zip ties. it still looks neat and works, i am running it to a x28hd and got it all set up along with my network bus.
