1998 150 TRP Vmax lower Unit acts like its locking up or going out of gear between 30 and 40 mpr if I let off the throttle some it stops acting up. Sometimes it won't go into reverse. I changed the shift cable last spring because it would not go into forward and that cured the problem for the summer. I know its not the shift cable because I disconneted the shift cable while the motor was running and clamped the motor shift in forward at the motor and drove to 35 mpr and it still acted up the motor does not go up in RPM when its doing it. Anyone have any experience with this problem. Your help would be appreciated.
