    motor height

    i have a 03 tr186 03 yamaha ox66 efi 150 25 tempest want to put jackplate on boat will be installing myself any info on height would be appreciated not sure on how many inch of set back to get was told 5-1/2 would not be enough to notice

    You can probably get more info from the Triton page of BBC as to the best height. Just be sure you don't get a setback that makes you change the hydraulic lines. I'd think 6-8 inches would be ok.
