What is the difference between a BR9HS-10 and a BR8HS-10? Will the effects be very different using one instead of the other???

I don't know the difference between the two or how they will affect the engine but the manual says to use the BR8HS-10.

The 8 and 9 are heat range, the 10 means pre-gappedMy manual says BR9HS-10 is right. If you are having plug fouling issues, run the 8, it is one range hotter, helps with burning off the oil. You can buy BR8HS or BR9HS, just have to set the gap .035 to .039.
