Hey all, posted about this problem a couple weeks ago...its not getting any better. At about 3000-3500 RPMs on takeoff (when the motor is really 'loaded up') it will cut out really bad about 4 or 5 times. There are no other problems once on plane running at mid-range or at WOT.

I have recently drained ALL of the fuel, replaced the fuel/water seperator, plugs and the filter on the passenger side that monitors for water in fuel. Good maintenance if nothing else right?

It is similar to a power pack problem I had on a 150 Johnson. I'm sure Yamaha's have similar modules, are these high fail items?? Any ideas on what this might be?? I really hate to run it, at all, like this. I just do't know which way to go?? Any and all help will be much appreciateed! Keep it reel.
