I'm switching from a two stroke OX66 to an F225 Sport. How will my rigging and guages pan out? The Yamaha tech rep told me my tach will work, you just have to flip some switches in the back of it, I assume water pressure is water pressure and tilt/trim is tilt/trim, but is that correct?
Here's what I've got-
And what about a fuel flow guage? Has anyone installed one themselves? How do they work? Where's the source; is it an inline on the fuel supply line, or is it a plug-in to the harness off the ECU? I want to have one installed along with my new motor, but if it's an easy install, and doesn't require splicing into the harness or require programming or something off the wall like that, I'll do it myself.
