It would be comparable to the exhaust on a car. Adding better relief can increase HP in certain areas of performance.
Thanks jerry. Thats about what the boat shop said, it just took them a couple days to get back with me. After talking with yamaha they said it wasn't bad since it only had a small chip in it.
