ive been having problems with my vmax the last couple weeks and was looking for any advice and/or ideas. It has good hole shot and shoots up to about 67-68 mph then kinda feels like it backs off then runs 64 the whole way. In the last month ive replaced the spark plugs, low presure fuel pumps, water pump, fuel filter, cleaned the poppit valve, and has a new exhaust cover gasket put on and it still has the same problems. Since the shop i take it to has a 89$ per hour labor rate im getting tired of taking 100$ shots in the dark once or twice a week trying to figure out the problem. Im getting curious as to maybe my tach is wrong and im actually bouncing the rev limiter but i dont think i am. Also, every once in a while it just shuts off when idleing. Any ideas?
