Does anyone here know how to disconnect a VRO from my 91 ProV 200? It currently still works but I just assume mix my gas and oil so I know for sure there wont be any issues.
Thanks in advance,
DeSean

You will need to remove the pump and drive gear which is inside the case. Block off all injection ports and fab a block off plate to fit over the oil pump hole. You can jump 2 of the wires going to the pump harness in the boat to turn off the red oil light in the gauge. I can't remember which 2 wires it is but a wiring schematic will give you an idea.
If the setup is like my engine he can just pull the pump off. Take a screwdriver and get the pump drive shaft out. Then just stick the pump back on. It will be disabled but will keep the stock look.

For what its worth, I would not recommend just leaving the pump on without the gear in the block. There are parts in the pump and can come out and have nowhere to go but in the engine......seen it happen. If you are dead set on removing the oil injection, which in my opinion is not necessary, make a block-off plate to mount over the hole and make sure both the gear and bushing are out.
Good Luck
