Thinking of possibly upgrading to a used 250 on my Triton Tr22...any pros or cons about a 2002 Yamaha 250 VMax? I am currently running a 2001 Mercury 225 EFI and get about 69 mphs...any idea of speed increase with a 250 Vmax? More or less gas consumption?

Just being honest, I doubt that you will gain alot of speed.... You may get a lil' better holeshot if set up right. Gas milage will be very similar as well... Very bad..Otherwise I think they are one of the better outboards that yamaha has ever made.
