    Re: Frozen peehole (cottonmouth)

When I lived in Indiana I ( and I still carry 2 of them in my hook box ) have/had a 4/0 hook that I cut the end off of and would run it up the hole just alittle ways and that would let it pee 99% of the time

    Re: Frozen peehole (cottonmouth)

Up here in the frozen north, when it's 25 below zero, and my peehole freezes, i usually drink more coffee, or don't go outside!!! Sorry, couldn't resist... I've had this happen to my engine a few times fishing late fall tourneys or just playin around, just let it warm up, there is going to be water circulating in the system, and it will be coming out the exhaust, once it warms enough to melt the ice in the peehole line, then it will operate fine. When you're done fishing for the day, make sure to drain the block of water real good, by trimming up and letting drain, then down, and even taking the water line off (on port side) (at least on mine) and blowing through it to make sure all water is out, mini winterize.. This should take care of it... One other thing you might try (and I've never done this) is once you've gotten all of the water out, maybe try shooting a little wd-40 or jb-80 in the peehole to help keep open???
