    Yamaha Water Pressure Guage Question

I just installed a Yamaha water pressure guage on a 1986 ProV 150. I bought the "sendor kit" from Yamaha. It came with the metric fitting, hose, etc. The hose is extremely long for a bassboat. It has two brass pieces pressed inside each end for the ferrule to compress against. Can you shorten this hose, or do you just coil up the extra and run with it? Thanks, MoChamp

Re: Yamaha Water Pressure Guage Question (MoChamp)

I think I shortend mine. Just pull the insert out on the cutting end and reinstall on the fresh cut end.
