I saw the post where the guys gauge did not work at all and it sounded like an easy fix. Mine is not reading correctly. When the motor is trimmed all the way down it still has 3 bars showing. Is there an adjustment for it?

Do a search on here for "trim gauge not working".you'll get all the necessary info. Good Luck
Your trim cam (clamp) is broken. A common problem on Yamaha's. Takes about 5 mins to replace and costs about $3. You should find the instructions here on the board. Recommend you buy two while you're at it as you will likely need the spare sometime in the future.
