Single Engine Gateway is Part# 8M0105243 . Appears it will be available by mid-late July of this year (although it's nearly as expensive as a Level 1 MercMonitor).
Requires an exisiting Smartcraft Network, Junction box, and one open port on the Junction Box.

Will it work with the System Tach and Speedometer?
Don will this support a Nmea-0182 HARDWIRED connection. Additionally, the Nmea-0182 version 2.0 OR EARLIER (the very old version).

This is a NMEA-2000 gateway "stick". Totally separate and different from any NMEA-0183 connection.
The gateway "stick" would be capable of transmitting ENGINE INFORMATION (from any existing Smartcraft System) to a NMEA-2000 device.
As of August 3, 2012, the new sell sheet DOES show that it will have very limited RX (receive) capabilities also.
