Hey fellas,
I've recently purchased an early 80's Mariner 75...it really runs nice with one exception:
The motor starts up and runs fine. After I shut it down and tilt it up to fish or put the transom saver on fuel runs out of the front of the carbs and accumulates in the air box...then when the motor is tilted down again, the fuel seeps out the seam in the air box and runs into the splash well.
What would cause the fuel to run out of the front of the carbs when the motor is tilted up?
Do the carbs need rebuilding? Floats need adjusting? Other ideas?
