2016 Ranger Z518 (non-C) - 150 HP Mercury 4-Stroke
Hi don't have mine yet just ordered a Ranger 518 with 150 - 4 stroke. everything i've heard has been good. the 518 is rated for 200 but they are about 2k more. for just a couple MPH it is not worth it to me. don't plan on re-sale so that is not an issue. don't fish tourneys just pleasure fish. if it swims i will fish for it.
dkibat, please share your experiences with us after you get to use your new rig. I have been boat shopping in my mind for next year and ALWAYS come back to the Z118 w/ the new Mercury 150hp 4-stroke. I'd love to hear about the boat AND the motor! Thanks.

will let you know when i can i was looking at 118 also but when i looked at the 518 with the options on the 2 boats i found for me the 518 was a much better deal and you can select your custom colors . before committing to 118 do some real comparison's break down the Z pack and the Touring pack if you are getting these when comparing options. also if you order between May 1 and May 15 you get a next year serial # boat for the current year price. not sure if this will be next year also but should remain the same. since Ranger shuts down in July for a couple of weeks to re-tool. also the next year serial # will not be a totally new year boat it will be serial # only but will help with loan's or resale. also you can check with Connie Hill at Ranger for what ever color chips you need ( chill@fishingholdings.com) for colors. some of colors are not on Custom Finish Shop from Ranger web site. not sure about the Motor being updated with the May deal.
