    Chipped Reeds

I decided to replace the reeds on my 2002 225 Opti. I had no problems, but figured it was good preventative maintenance. I ordered the TDR reeds and gasket from Don and went to work. Fairly easy process, the longest part was lapping the cages. Once I pulled the cages I noticed three were chipped. Luckily compression is even and it looks like the chips passed with no damage. Motor only has 227 hours.

Very timely catch there, my friend!

When you get it back together... drop me a line and let me know what you think of the performance.
