New Powerhead and Thermostats - Different Temperatures

I just had a new powerhead installed on my 2006 250xs. After going through the warm-up cycle the original thermostats stabilize and the temperature was 116-120. With the new powerhead and thermostats, the motor now runs at about 127. Any insight would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Before proceeding- can you please provide your ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER?

This is important, as we must identify the PRECISE model of your engine to accurately answer this question.

Your original powerhead had 120 degree thermostats.

REPLACEMENT powerheads come standard with 130 degree thermostats. Hence the temperature increase.

When running a STOCK configuration (unmodified), there should be no adverse affect from this.
