When I had my 2005, I never heard this alarm. It will make 8-10 short beeps as soon as I start the engine and sometimes when I slow down and idle around. Don't know what it may be. Oil is full. Maybe the oil pump? How does one check? Thanks.

This just happened to me.. 10 beeps on start up... Don is the man to help you.
Mine turned out to be a faulty TPS sensor. European Marine hooked me up for the parts and guidance I needed to get this fixed.
