Would it be the same plug for a 2005 225 pro xs?
My S/N is 1B77783.

Incomplete serial number... that's not going to match up to a 2005 engine, either.
You can look at the following guide (found in the Commonly Asked- Commonly Used Sticky Post) to determine the spark plug for your engine.![]()

Got it thanks - S/N should be 1B173783 per my Bill of Sale - otherwise I'd better check it.

How is it that when I bought the Quicksilver IZFR6J plugs for my 2003 250XS that they only costed like $4 a piece as opposed to $12-$15 a piece? Did my local Bass Pro screw up or are the Quicksilver plugs cheaper?

Somebody screwed up.... retail on that plug (Quicksilver) is $20.42 (you can buy them cheaper- but that price would have been WAY, WAY below cost).![]()

Makes sense, a buddy asked me how much I paid for the plugs when I told him that I had bought new ones. He seemed shocked that I only paid like $25 or something for all 6, someone must have screwed up big time, cuz I would have remembered paying $80-$120 for em.
Just make sure you REALLY got the IZFR6J's.
There are a lot of other "similar" plugs that are cheaper (some even NGK)- but they're NOT suitable for your engine.![]()
