Don't know if that is your perticular cable. But do know the hotfoot cable needs to be at least 2-3" bigger then the stock shifter one..

The TYPE of cable will depend on WHAT HOTFOOT you're installing.

As Lou mentioned, most commonly, a hotfoot cable will be 2-3 feet LONGER than the control cables you currently have.

Essentially, there are two cable "types": Gen-1 and Gen-2. The difference is in the ANCHOR POINT at the hotfoot or control end.

In EITHER case, I would HIGHLY recommend utilizing a Mercury or Quicksilver "Platinum" cable, as they are MUCH smoother operating, and FAR more durable.

The standard-type (brand-X) cables become difficult to move when rolled in a 12" circle (or when a 90 degree bend occurs in less than 10" radius).

The Premium Cable will operate smoothly when rolled in a 9" circle (smooth enough to push/pull the ends with two fingers). NIGHT AND DAY difference in quality.

Instructions included with the hotfoot should instruct as to which "generation" cable is suitable.

Length must be determined by the installer.
