Just curious what I should be seeing at idle, typical midrange and minimum at WOT? Thanks!

No midrange specifications given, as this can vary dramatically from setup to setup.
Specs:
At idle: 1-3 psi minimum.
At WOT: 15 psi MINIMUM (prefer to see 18+ for safe measure in turns).

Would the same numbers apply to a 250XS?

Yes. The same numbers would apply to ANY 3 liter product utilzing a gearcase with "low water pickups" or "both low and side water pickups".![]()

On my anaolg pressure gauge I dont really read anything at idle on my 250 XS, is that just because its an analog gauge? The motor is pissing plenty good, but gauge doesn't read anything.
Analog gauges seldom read much at low RPM/water pressure.
A Smartcraft Instrument, however, would give you an accurate Water pressure reading (in TENTHS of a PSI).![]()
Telltale stream is only a "general" indicator of water flow through the air compressor's cooling circuit. Doesn't tell you a whole lot (other than water is flowing through the compressor).![]()
