How 'bout it Don- will these "skins" restrict airflow on 200 Pro XS?

I've not personally had my hands on one of these to "inspect and comment".

In theory.... as long as the air intake (at the back/top of the cowling) is not restricted, this cover could be utilized while running the engine.

I would NOT, however, recommend it be left in place for long runs (more for trolling, fishing, brush-areas, or that pesky back seater that can't keep his lures off the cowling).

I know of several that have bought the Mercury covers, marked where the intake areas were, took them to a custom cover maker, and had them cut the area marked out and install black fishnet in it's place. Works like a charm.

I have one on my 250 pro-xs and it works great.

They said to take it off monthly to clean the cowling.

    So far=good.

I have the tuffskinz on my merc 250 and I love it. Pays for itself in protecting the cowling from branches and nonboaters lures! It is well vented too.

Tuffskinz all the way. Fit and finish is awesome and customize to your liking.
