99 merc optimax 200

HELP,

I have a mer 200hp 1999. Last weekend fired the boat up let it run while i parked the vechile. Well got in the boat and went to get it on plane and it sounded like it was cutting in and out so right then i came of the throttle let it set there and so i tried it again same thing. So my head was spinning like a top what to do . So i dropped the trolling motor and fished around the landing for about an hour. Crank the motor take off like nothing happed fished all day with no other problems . it did it again today the temp now in south carolina is about 32 degrees in the mor. and a high of 60 . Sounds like fuel to me. i run 87 with the treament and quickleen every time i fuel up. I hope its a quick fix the spotted bass are eating this time of year and i'm ready for them i hope.

Although this could be a lot of different things, one of the more common is a fuel-delivery related problem.
