Waterproof Camers Housing for DSLR ???

I got a Sony A550 & an A100 .

Does anyone know where I can get a Waterproof housing for it ???

I wanna take a few Submerged/partially submerged shots.

Only had 2 appplicable ,,, they were $1499 & $2000+......

Bit too much for what i want to spend, only have to be able to go to 3' max, just want subsurface shots....dont wanna get my A550 wet though !!

The housings are not cheap at all but neither is your camera gear. They do make some sort of a plastic bag version for a few feet but I would not use it when you think about how much money you have invested.

I got onto one on Ebay for $80 .

Its the plastic bag type, so I think I might get it & test it with some sugar or talcum powder inside first, then I might try my old A100...

Yiour're right the A550 is worth a bit but the housing is 3 times what I paid for the 550 Body !

Be sure to report back on how it works. I have been looking at them for a while now but just can't make myself trust them. I really hope it works because I will get one if it does
