    Macro photography ??

I have been trying to get better at my macro photography pics, here is a few of my baits that I custom painted and then shot the pics in macro mode. Anything I could have done to make them any better? Any tips welcomed !!

Your paint job on the baits look badass,,, certainly nothing wrong with the pics either.

I think #3 is the strongest in the set photography wise.

My only suggestions would be to possibly play around with some of camera lighting, even a little led flashlight can work well at times, and to use a tripod if your not already...

nice shots and reallllly nice paint work on the baits.

+ a bazillion what Eric said about a tripod....a tripod will make ANY photo better, it allows so many options.

For macro shots definitely use a tripod and if you have it a remote shutter release as well so you are not touching the camera at all. It will make the pictures that much sharper.

Tripod, Remote shutter as stated above, and Try and get some more light onto the lures. Use reflectors or mirrows to reflex some light in.

Doing Macro you get so close that you end up blocking out most of the light.
They look real good though might see what you can do in PP to push the exposer.

If you don't have a remote shutter release, you can also set the timer on the camera so you are not touching the camera when it take the picture.

I love the paintjob, but the background to me detracts from the product. it needs to be alot more of a background as some of the baits tend to blend in with it.

Try just a standard white background on them and then putting in a faint pattern so they POP off the page.
