    opti oil & prem. plus?

Just bought a new 175 pro XS,the mech. told me to use prem. plus. They gave me 2 gallons and it was very black oil.Was this opti oil? Got my jug filled at another dealer, asked for prem. plus. I was pouring it in and noticed it had a blue tint to it.I stopped,I'm guessing these are 2 different oils. Can these oils be mixed?

Premium Plus is a dark green color. Opti oil is a brown color.

I believe that is correct, that blue Merc/Quicksilver oil is plain Premium oil. Don can confirm or correct this.

Premium Plus oil can be EITHER Blue or Green in color. What we have in our bulk drum is "blue".

You might also want to look at the the oil recommendation for your engine.... it's been recently updated:
