anybody been to dardanelle this week

has anybody been to dardanelle this week? mr bass coming up this weekend. what do i need to be tossing besides dynamite. i hear it is extra muddy all over. anybody found any decent water to fish?

Went this weekend and yes, it is muddy just about everywhere I went...did not head up towards Shoal Bay though, so it might be a little less muddy there, don't know

Caught a bunch of small ones but not a lot of any size...

There's a 2inch wide band of clear water against the bank. Fish there.

I did better with catfish on spinnerbaits than bass last weekend..... It's a muddy mess.

ill make sure i hit that 2 inch band of clear water. there is bound to be some giant bass hanging out there. i hope i can find some clean "er" water in big piney. anybody been there.

i have had a house in shoal bay for almost 10 years and the water there is as dirty as i have ever seen it.

We fished Piney Bay for a little bit. It was the cleanest water we were able to find. With the river flow and level dropping it will probably not be bad this weekend. I think the "fishability" will depend on how much water is coming down Piney this week. If the creek volume slows and river level drops but maintains flow rates - I've heard it could suck the water level out of the backwaters.

Sad thing is - Piney Bay was the best looking water we could find - but never even got a nibble there.

Might look into clear hole and october hole. usually stay clear most of the time. Old spadra as well.

Cast up on the bank and drag lure into the water.

"The process of elimination is illumination".

You should now be on them and have the technique.
Question is, can ya catch em?
